Hi Spider fans !!
Was in Costa Rica recently and saw this spider / tarantula...
Can anyone please tell me what the name of this animal is?
For the right answers, I am happy to send you the original pictures in full 1.5 MB size..

very much does not look like a tarantula to me
the C. coc' would be more inline with my guess of some kind of hunstmen spider
neat looking little thing :)

the colour of the abdomen looks "different" from the right perspective-

As long as you are not caught.
Though seriously no, Costa Rica takes wildlife smuggling very seriously. Not to mention if caught coming into the US with anything will not be peasant either.
