Survived my first molt!

My A. hentzi sling gave me a good scare yesterday (see my post "I think my sling is dead!"), but it turned out he was just molting. He's at least 1/4 inch bigger than he was before the molt, darker, fuzzier and generally now looks more like a tarantula than a house spider!

I got the exuvium out and brought it to school so I could look at it with a magnifier. Not sure if it's big enough to save - what is the criteria for saving/mounting etc an exuvium.

I'll post pictures when I get home - for some reason I can't upload them from school.

Congrats on your first molt! It is always exciting, but the first time is special.

some people save all of them to show the growth...I save 0 of them lol

I was kind of thinking that at this size it's not much to look at!
