I got a 4" female Crassicrus lamanai - Belize Cinnamon this evening.

I'll try to get some photos tomorrow when she calms a bit.

I was hoping she would be docile but she seems jumpy. . .

I've had mine for a year now and she is fairly skittish. Beautiful Ts though. Congrats!

Hey Jim, I just got my 4" female lamanai on Sat!! I love her velvety browns. She hasn't seemed too skittish, and since settling in has been sitting on top of her hide rather than in it. She ate for me today, so she must be comfy.

Give yours a few days, but you know that. ;)

i have 10 of these guys. great eaters, and over half are fairly visible (aka, not deep within burrows). they're all skiddish though. i don't know about yours, but most of mine like to play bulldozer and bury their water dishes. :wall:

one of my favorite species. :D enjoy!

One of my favorites as well, and my first T. Here's a link to a thread I posted when I first got her. It has a few nice pics that show how beautiful she is right after a molt.

We still have her, and I'm still hunting for a male if anyone has any leads...

Make sure to get some pics up of yours. Mine is definitely not one for being handled. She has the temperment of a King Baboon

The males are said to be all black and rare as you probably already know ; )

Anyway I'll be another pair of eyes at least.

They had two females at the pet store both are skittish but no threat display.

There not too much information about them in the books I have or on the Internet. I found some good information from one of the users here "BECCA"

Here is some more information also:

She seems settled in the coconut shell hide this morning, I'll try for some photos later today.

Some photos of the female Crassicrus lamanai - Belize Cinnamon.

She's much calmer today as I had to pick her up and move her for the photo session. She was stiff as board while I picked her up and moved her ; ) This is the first tarantula that I picked up like that - I was a bit stiff myself ; ) You can see she's kind of hunkered down in some of the photos. I think she'll be really nice in time.

i have an immature male. ;) no worries, he'll be going out on a breeding loan after he matures and has had a chance with my freshest ladies.

When you get some slings ready, consider the first dozen already sold!
