Lightening Legs nabs the cricket!

It was one of those nights when I had gone a good ten days without seeing "Baby" my 6 inch H minax. I popped a couple of crickets in her tank and sat back to watch. Naturally they both quickly gravitated to the top of her burrow and hung out. I thought I saw a speck of movement down below so I got out the camera and pulled up a chair.

The next few second were too fast to catch. In a flash of iridescent black, the cricket was nabbed! Good work Baby. Bon appétit!

That gives me an idea, I was pondering throwing a cricket to my h.lividum here soon. I think I may do that now...glad to hear your baby got a meal, and that you were lucky enough to see it!
