Vegas spider hunt + wedding

Ok, figured Id post this here since its my main hangout on AB ...and I managed to somehow make the special day a spider day too. :D

Got married in Vegas on the 30th ...at night, circling sin city in a helicopter. ;P :cool:

Morning of.. I went out exploring empty development lots in the area we were staying. #1 goal as usual... find some loxosceles ...and Vegas has em! :worship: The finest of God's creatures that are able to live in the Devil's town. ;)

It is tradition to let recluse crawl around the wedding cake ...brings good luck. ;) ...:? :D

Hey, good to see ya around ...been hiding? ...or maybe it was me that has been hiding. :D
Collected a few small "items" ...cool for me, but nothing that will change the hobby as we know it. :D Very cold out there ...hitting that freezing point so most inverts are hunkered down deep. Working on some pics.

Latros poop too much ...besides loxos are whats in nowadays ...its what the kids are doin'. :D

Ok... got a few loxos while turnin' rocks n'junk in Vegas. Spotted TONS of loxo molts...everywhere. I would guess in late spring/summer, the city is loxo heaven.

Just found 3 ...one fem(?), a juv and 1 male. Im sure if I looked harder I'd have found more, but this time of year most everything is well hidden.

The verdicts still out when it comes to reclusa...let alone the other species that probably never tasted big furless monkey before.
The only reason L.reclusa have become "demonized" (and studied to the extent they have been) is the fact they have adapted well to man made environments. Though L.deserta may be the next in line for they have moved into and done well in human dwellings. They spray the crap out of Vegas homes to keep them outside.
I have some proper browns that have matured beautiful. Got to let them out to play soon and take some new pics.

BTW...VERY interested in raising some non-US species. If ya have access to any for trades or whatnot, feel free to contact me. :D ;)

Oh yeah... need to shoot her ...maybe tonight. Shes cooling off in my outside widow cabinet ...shes young and spunky esp when I first warmed her up to around 75F. BTW..Strongest webbing I have ever felt a widow produce.
