Latrodectus geometricus dark color form?

has anyone alse ever heard or come across this "morph"?
my geo is all very dark choclate brown, with no light colors or patterns, other than the hourglass
(it was given to me my jacob(pulk))

this morph is being bred here in Germany. A friend has a large breeding stock.

I personally do not believe that his is a 'morph'. All* the SoCal geos turn dark later in life. I had one that went completely black for a couple weeks before its death.

I saw this spider before he got it and it had the normal colors and patterns then. It is probably just a mature speciemen that has darkened.

what about the beige ones that stay that color?
There are definately different color morphs of Latrodectus sp. for example L. tredecimguttatus: Black ones (showing 13 spots until ultimate moult), standart with 13 red spots, specimen with spot forming a line...

Improver, I was referring to the specific population that his geo came from. They start out 'normal' and after maturity they begin to darken.

I have not seen any SoCal geos(the population his is from) that stay tan throughout their entire life. I am not disputing that there are morphs of Latrodectus species, just that it is a trait from this population to darken after maturity and I dont think it deserves the term morph.

well, this individual has been very dark the whole time ive had it, before and after a molt
