Haitian Pede getting black

My new Haitian centipede came out of hiding last night running all over. I noticed a large black area on the underside just behind the head. I wonder if it was injured or is just getting ready to molt. It is getting fat and has not eaten for a few weeks. It moves so fast and is almost imposible to get a good look at it.
I fill the water dish and it just fills it with substraight. Anyone else notice a black area on a centipede? It acts heathy..........

I just talked to Kelly Swift about this guy. I think he is right. He thinks these are mites. It is kept pretty moist.
