I was bitten by an individual of this species nearly 2 months ago, but just now figured to put up a bite report about them... i procrastinate ;)
Well it began when I was attempting to remove a bottle cap from the e.pachypus's kritter keeper. I was removing webbing from the cap which she happened to have coated quite well. I saw her come out of her burrow, but she didn't throw a threat posture at me. About 2 seconds later when I diverted my attention else where i felt a tap on the side of my hand. I pulled my hand out of the container to see the spider still working its fangs into my hand. I lowered my hand back down into the container, let her finish her business, and she let go and ran back into her burrow. Within an half-an-hour i started to sweat profusely, and felt my heart rate accelerate. Within 2 hours nausea kicked in, and all symptoms lasted for about 6 hours. Next day I felt fine.
