View Full Version : Orange Huntsman (Thelcticopis modesta)

Ok so I have a Orange Huntsman (Thelcticopis modesta) and shares a ten gallon tank with two tarantulas on both sides of it (separated of course) but I don’t know what kind of décor I should have in its enclosure. As you can see from the pictures I have it a huge space so I have a lot to work with. So all information giving is cool just make sure its relevant to my post thanks. A CORRECT caresheet I would read on my own would be helpful too.

try using a vertical cork bark hide like one used for bark scorpions

i'll just buy a grape vine and stick it in the middle.

What about their bite? is it really bad? is it just ok?

can you co habit these guys w other orange huntsmen?

no keep them
solitary...as for their bite its not too bad nothing medically significant.

Mine loved vegetation, I would find them in elephant grass up the mountains in the Virgin Islands. I'm pretty sure it was the same sp

gotta say this is one of my fave sp.'s.mine is in a large jug with vetical cork bark and is doing great.good luck

Then im wondering what sp, I was pretty young but it was definately a Sperassidae.
