I found this little girl about 3 months ago and It is very sensitive to light. Found in Wilbur, Washington

Thanks!..Do you know how toxic their venom is? Because when it catches crickets, the cricket looks like it paralyzed when she releases her grip.

Im pretty sure its a drassodes (Gnaphosidae) typical ground spider. My 8yr old daughter was bitten when she picked one up, it must have hurt because it made her cry

I agree with Amaurobiidae. Gnaphosidae has prominent spinnerets for one. Could be Amaurobius ferox a "Hackledmesh Weaver".
