I had sold some P. audax recently, and they are due to be shippped early this coming week. The female was enormous, and I was pretty sure she was gravid. Well, lo and behold, I come home today to find her in a nest on top of a whole bunch of eggs.
Here's the thing though. Is there a good reason not to remove her from the sac? If she is remated, will she produce another?

Hello
Iam currently on holiday in Cancun and have seen a fantastic yellow spider. I would like to know if anyone ahs any idea what it might be. I do have pictures but unfortunately do not have any way of uploading them at the moment.
Description is:
Small to medium (probably about half an inch across). It has a crab like abdomen that is bright yellow with black spikes on it. In silouhette it looks like the spider is carrying a small holly leaf.
Does anyone have any ideas???
