well plastic technically. i have 3 very small ones in kritter keepers, and because fruit flies would climb up and out of the vented top, i cut mosquito netting and rubber banded it down. well i have a live plant in one and its leaves were very near the top and the TWS would get up there and hang out on the underside of the screen.
one day i came home to find the rubber band had slipped off and the screen was loose. worst of all, the TWS w as nowhere to be found. i was pretty unhappy about that but the next day i saw it clinging to the outside of the kirtter keeper next to it, hanging from its netting. i was glad to have found it, and now it cant get to the screen from the plant anymore.
well strangely enough, i came home recently and found it up there again. i couldnt figure out how it was doing it until i saw the one in the KK next to it up on its screen too, and it had nothing to climb up to reach it. thats when i realized they can climb plastic walls... i searched google for it and coundly find anything about them climbing the walls of their enclosures. its certainly news to me.
