Ok, so while my L revivensis have perished, the L menavodi are thriving.
So... I have searched several times and I'm not coming up with much. So if you fantastic widow enthusiasts could answer any of these questions, I would be overjoyed!!

What is the best environment for these guys? Thus far they are in small enclosures with no air holes (due to their current teensiness) and I make sure they are opened 2x a week, I am feeding several fruit flies once a week.

Do I need to mist them or do they get moisture from their food?

How will I know when they are adults, ie what is adult size like?

How can I tell male from female? I have two that are bigger than the others but the small ones are pretty small.

Are they difficult to mate?

Thanks all!

i have a couple menavodi and they are like keeping any of our native species. i also have revivensis that are doing very well. i have noticed that air flow is very important. they will dessicate very easily however so be sure to feed regularly and offer a spray of water with a squirt bottle every once in a while.

fruit flies are good, circulation is good but prob not that big of a deal. they will be pretty darn big as adults. about hesp size, key word about. males you should be able to distinguish very very early on, when they start sexual dimorphism (looking different). not difficult to mate. mist occasionally, but i wouldn't go overboard. anybody else got anything to add? and did that answer all your q's Fish?

Thanks so much! That did answer my questions. I may come back with a few more after a while though hehe. I have to say, these little ones are far more beautiful than I had expected. They were about the same size teensy specks when I got them, I assume that the ones that have gotten bigger and beautiful are probably the females, and the ones that have stayed small and red may be males.

Dead on here , I have both specie and have bred both specie. hatching sacs is pretty easy with the exception of the menavodi need it a bit more humid for a better hatch rate

I think it's important to vary the diet, and especially graduate from FFs as soon as possible. You can mix in pinheads now...
