first bad molt

It was bound to happen at some point. A nine year streak is pretty darn good. I just wish I knew what went wrong. :wall:

Do you have a clearer pic of the damages. It looks like the abdomen is missing a patch.:?

wow, glad she made it. Interesting ab. Looks like she molted before it was ready.

My camera macro settings won't let me get any closer and clearer. The abdomen is all there, just really thin in that spot.

At least she got through it and she's healthy. In another moult she'll be good as new.

Sometimes when this happens they have a second molt right after. This is what i have heard and not sure if this is one of those cases. I would be worried about filling that abdomen with food due to stretching. It might rip open.
