I found this spider in my roommate's room, and it's a young one. It's the same kind of spider that was invading my apartment a month ago, and I'm REALLY curious as to what species this is. They're fast, vicious, and incredibly invasive. I REALLY don't want another wave of these things in my room. The file's only 30 seconds long but it's 100 MBs because I wanted it to be crystal clear.

Uh...don't mind The Boondocks in the background.

They appear to be huntsman spiders, what state do you live in.

They are harmless as far as venom, but if you are scared they can make you run into walls and door posts.

Michigan, myself. I've never seen this kind of spider before here. And yes, I know they're not harmful, whatever they are, but my GOD are they ever annoying.

That seems to be what I was looking for, thank you. :) Apparently they're nocturnal because I have yet to see one during the day.

Yup, looks like a Running Crab Spider. They come out during the day too, at least the males, that ive noticed. Creepy and fast they are.

I hate these things. The first one I encountered tried to assassinate me. =( And the 15 or so that followed weren't exactly "shy" either.

I'm slightly phobic. :( Fascinated, though! I just wish they'd stay outside while I was sleeping!

you know what, I dont think you are the first one like this on the boards.

I'll bet that if you just hang around and read some threads, you will start getting the spider fever (in a good way). It always happens the more you find out about spiders the more your interest grows.

And then all of a sudden you have 10 pet spiders, then 20, then.......:D
