took a lil 1 night trip to central MO the other day, found about ten different kinds of spiders along with countless webs and eggsack, her are some of the better pics.

some kind of cobweb spider, found 2 egg sacks with this one

one of my favorite spiders to fotograph, there were lots of these running around, i think i found some egg sacks too, but not sure how that whole family goes about laying eggs.

Yeah, beautiful pics... that last orbweaver (assuming) is absolutely stunning.

doesn't really match the description all that well, her web looked a like cup.

thanks for the great replies, i had a great time taking all these pictures, every spider seen here was found on a deck roughly 40 sq. ft. in size. From what i understand the whole house is rarely visited (once a month). The population of spiders tell that tale, there had to be at least 30 spiders living on that deck, more in the garage and dozens of funnel web spiders along the side of the house . It's in a forested area though.

It is a "bowl and dioly" spider,Frontinella pyramitela=Linyphiidae

great! apologies to Johnnyster, i misunderstood the description i looked up, is it F. pyramitela, or F. communis

yep, i love their webs ,very common in Fla.
