Found in my backyard in south NJ.

She's even been making some patches of webbing on the sides of the jar and clinging to them

If it helps at all, the area most wolf spiders in my backyard occupy is sand along the edge of some woods. I usually see those with this patterning sitting in the woods part of the edge.

carolinensis and helluo are large but there are allot of others in the 1-1.5 range, heres a good site for wolfs
