I adopted this one from a kid down the street, i couldn't determine sex as that part always gets ruined and im never going to breed anyways, but ill call her a she, and she also gave me this nice molt mat to display her with.

That is the molt and the abdomen is all twisted up, but as you can see it got straightened out and fixed for mounting. Cool eh?
Will try to enter these at the fair next year.

Very nice! I really liked the way that turned out. You also lucked out that she left the dorsal half of the abdomen intact. Good job!

What did you use as your base for the substrate/rocks, etc?

that is a flat rock, just took the complete molt mat as is from her cage and then added my moss and some fish tank rock, i glued her feet to the rock in places along with the mat,rocks etc. If you do this project, don't use superglue on the T itself, you can see the shiny spot between the head and the abdomen, the glue messes it up. Can't wait for others to molt now, will use bark from pine tree, cottonwood(had a huge one fall a week ago) and others items as i see fit.
