Saw lots of these when i was in FL last month. They where everywhere. Im guessing there some kinda assasin.

i've seen some pictures of those specie ,... in dead, dried form,... never in their living form,.... beautys :D

did you catch any ?

i could of, but there where so many of them i did not think to. And to get them home in the plane would be hard. i guess i could have sent them but it was so hot all up and down the east coast at that time. I worried they would die along w/ the scorps and pede that i found.

Its a reduviid of the genus Zelus, most likely Zelus longipes. Awesome species.
