Wicked moth!

Found this guy on my front door. Definitely the strangest moth I have ever seen.

Anyone know what it's called?

Well, it's definately a type of sphinx (AKA hawk) moth, but I can't find anything that looks quite like it in my moth guide.

It looks stunningly like a tan airplane. I have seen some strange moths, but never any like this!

yup definetly hawk moth one time i saw a hawk moth with gold wings

its surely at sphingidae sphinx but I also cant find anything in my moth book that resembles it exactally...

I'm not sure which particular sphinx this is, but we see them a lot in Georgia.
