As some of you have figured out, I am a total spider noob. I'd like to pick up a good field guide to help educate myself. Any recommendations?

This is one of the best sources for hard to get books, I've bought allot from Paul Gritis. Just call and ask him for spider books

is there anything by peterson field guides out there? i love those. i have one for reptiles, and it's amazing.

Lol, no I didn't. I just saw the link, and it was Audubon. Oops! Well, another voucher for the book won't hurt. It's surprisingly useful for such a small book! Loads of ID's you don't get in most books.
