Appears to be an Araneus sp., but not sure which one. I know the picture is crummy, but it was taken with a flash at night, and this little spider was fast. The body with leg-span measures about 3/4 cm. I've found two of these so far in my woodpile.
Looks like a theridiid to me...

I think you're right..it very closely resembles S. triangulosa.
I was just hoping it wasn't a Latrodectus of some sort, as I have to do some work under my crawl space soon. The body shape is very similar to a widow spider. Thanks! :) Now I know I don't have to organize a squishing party. I don't like to squish.

A squishing party:shame: heh heh the only widows in this state are variolus and they are few and far between

Are you sure? It might be any number of the other theridiid genera... Theridon comes to mind as another possibility, along with Parasteatoda.
