Hello to all!!!
Today I discovered my Phoneutria male has not been able to climb on the glass surface. Does this mean that he might be dying????

If he is very slow and his legs are in an abnormal position like under his body and lets himself moved with a tweezer or something like that then I would say so..
He could be too old, however he could be just before his molt. If You could post a pic then perhaps I could help more..

Hey there!!!
Thanks a lot for your answer.
He is not acting anormal though, he is just not climbing too well and that for me is weird. He hs been eating well, but I know he is already an adult and could last for a month or so. I have had him with me since adulhood and for a over more than a month so I was just wondering if that would be the reason for him not to climb well.
Here is another post where I show the pictures of the male.

I'm so glad if I could help a little bit, however I couldn't tell anything, but you're welcome:)
If he just doesn't move on the glass I wouldn't worry about him. You can clean his tank especieally the glass or you can put a bark into it.
