Ok, here's my question.
I work in a greenhouse with tropical plants. I find spiders in the plants quit frequentely. The plants mostly come from Costa Rica/Guatamal/Equador.
I have several H. venatorias which came from those countries.
I now have 2 female Heteropodas from Thailand (one with egg sac).
Does H. venatoria also live in Thailand? These 2 ladies look a bit greener than the H. venatoria, so I was thinking, maybe they are H. boiei. I know male H. boiei are nicely colored and quit green and the females are more even colored.
I have some baby H. boiei, but they are too small to compare them to the adult females.
Can anyone tell me if it's only H. boiei that lives in Asia/Thailand etc or if H. venatoria also lives there?

Will try to get some pics later

Well:
mf boiei (Doleschall, 1859)....................Malaysia, Java, Sumatra
mf venatoria (Linnaeus, 1767) *....................Pantropical

I think they can be almost everything.. If I were You I would check at least the genus by using ID keys. Then if you have equippment and literature you can find out the species..
