This has to be the absolute WORST place to buy any animal. All the staff is afraid of the reptiles and inverts, and the animals' cages are in the most deploreable conditions possible. It seems like their goal is to be inhumane. The employees do not know how to take care of bascially any animal. This store is so bad, i could go on for hours. I've tried to get them shut down a couple of times. NEVER BUY AN EXPENSIVE PET FROM THERE. I've rescued 3 tarantulas from there.

Alsip nursery is a TERRIBLE place to buy ANY pets. Most stores that sell live animals but do not specialize in them are not all that great.

I noticed you are from the Orland park area, as am I. Have you tried Animal Island in Midlothian?

Not only are their inverts and reptiles poorly kept (and overpriced), <EDIT>. I agree -- stay away!
