Anyone one to try and quess what this is? Why the colors?

perhaps a genetic mutation, recently molted, or whatever beetles do, geographic color varient? don't know could be anything.

It just had it's adult molt. It was orange but buy the time I got the camera out it started changeing. I just wanted to point out the color change. This is an adult Platymeris Spc. Mombo Male.

I'm not sure why but one male has yellow spots and the other red.....

they look awesome,....
seems to me there's a bit of differnce in their bodystructure then those of rhadamantus or bigutatus,... these seem to be a bit larger and a bit stronger,... or am i seeing this i want to see ?;) :}
