I was in my backyard smoking a black, and I saw this little guy(gal? don't know) on me, I tried to catch it and it jumped. I thought I lost it but it had created a jump cord with it and was hanging on to it.

I know this is hard without a pic but it's ~0.5" and my camera is no good with macro shots. I live in South Florida and the spider is grey/white with a brown abdomen pattern.

ANY info is appreciated!

well, it is a little hard without pics ;) nothing that can't be solved, right?!

try looking up some local species. i know google has a lot of info on florida spiders. chances are it's a common spider and they'll have some info or pics. i know for CO they have a pretty good database, so i'm sure they have one for FL as well.

After doing very extensive research, I found this. Menemerus bivittatus (Gray Jumping Spider). Seems to be it, there just isn't care info on them.

then just try to mimic their surroundings. you should know best what the environment is like. care is probably similar to many other jumpers.
