I have so so soooo many sacs at this point. I know I can put them in the freezer and that seems to be a humane way to do it, but I'd feel kind of bad doing that. Any suggestions on what I should do. The first one hatched about a week ago and I'm letting them cannibalize for a while to get the good ones. I'm just running into a problem keeping the WC females I have they just don't stop producing. I live in an area that I can't just release them too and I'd feel horrible about killing them. Anyone want some latro slings? The mother of the one that hatched is really pretty (well I think so).

1) how many is "so so sooo" many?! dozens? ;)
2) what species do you have?
3) if you cool the females, they will stop producing the sacs as often. give them a hibernation period
4) and yes, let them cannabilize down to a manageable number. it's better than just killing them. it'll also ensure that the strongest survive.

I think I'm about ready to get back into spiders. If you're still interested in getting rid of a sac or two let me know through e-mail. I loves me some latros. :D

Ok so I have about 5 sacs right now and I'm gonna go ahead and assume next feeding time will produce more. So if anyone wants a sac or some slings hit me up. I would need some money for shipping n such so PM me and we can figure out pricing n such.:D

I just had my L. geo lay a sac on me. It was wild caught and I thought it would've been a juvie since it was so small. I have others that are 2x bigger than her too. I gave her some food a few nights ago and out pops a little spike ball. I have a lot more females and I'm not sure which one will pop a sac on me next.
