Is there a caresheet lying around for Heteropoda? I have no idea how to properly set up her enclosure.

Im not really educated on huntsman sp. but I keep mine (all Malaysian species) in a 2.5 gallon critter keeper with only plants and maybe 1/2 inch of sub. Mine are never on the floor of their enclosures and they love drinking water off the walls.

Thanks for the input. How often do you mist the enclosures?

I do daily. Ocassionally I will skip and day but always do the next day.

I use a Kritter Keeper as well. How do you keep the humidity in the enclosure while at the same time maintaining a decent level of ventilation?

Tape over some of the air slits.

Yeah that's what I've done. Also, how often should I offer food; and is a water dish necessary?

I have kept mine for over a year now with no water dish and they seem to be doing great. I put plastic wrap over the top of the enclosure with the sides uncovered for ventilation.

Ok great. Do yours like to hang out under the lid? It seems that mine does, and it's a scary prospect. I certainly can't open the lid to mist the tank when the spider is right there.

Yeah I put alot of plants in mines enclosure so that they are usually chilling inside or on the back of the leaves. I mist through the sides that I leave open on one side on the enclosure.
