If anyone would like to give me ideas on a valid ID of this guy, I'd be most thankful.

As far as I know, it's still a baby. It resembles a male salticus scenicus in that it has long, tubular chelicerae, but instead of having the normal zebra spider pattern, it has a long metalic green stripe going from the top of it's head to the very back of it's abdomen, and there is a black band surrounding the green stripe and a white band surrounding the black band.

Sadly, I do not yet have pictures to show you. I will try and get a suitable camera as soon as possible. I found it in Friendswood, Texas (southeastern Texas)

::EDIT::
After much searching on the Internet, I have determined that this spider looks a darn lot like a Cosmophasis spp.
Which seems pretty satisfactory, except for the fact that I can't find any species that lives in the US.
::EDIT 2::
It seems as if the specific body type of the spider is present in Opisthoncus spp. as well. This will get confusing.
I suppose I must wait to get a picture of it..
::EDIT 3::
Narrowed it down to two species: Bagheera prosper, and Messua limbata
