She had been suffering from something for over the last 5 months. It was a slow death and she fought hard. :(

That really stinks... Im sorry. I had a mysterious death recently too... it's really terrible when they go that way.

at least she didnt go from a wet molt. wet molts are the worst because you see them all decrepit and such as they go.

I don't think anyone has WC metallica in the US. And if they are here they are in really small numbers.

I had a female sub-adult A.avic mysteriously die on me early this year as well. For six months she stopped webbing/eating... The last month she wouldn't respond to touch anymore. It was a very bizarre thing. I'm sure the cost of yours alone makes it harder to swallow, but it bothers me none-the less when an animal's death goes without explanation. =( I'm sorry for your loss!

What a sad announcement. She was beautiful. :( Very sorry to hear of it.
i lost my little female GBB the same way it sucks i think its even worse slowly watching them die hopeing they will snap out of it
