So I've been wanting one for a while now. I went to our bi-weekly swap we have here and this guy had a bunch of really big reds and some smaller blacks...
So I 've been doing my web surfing and the closest spec. name i have found is... Mygalomorph stasimopus robertsi... Is this right?
Looking for any additional info... A lot of the info i've found on the web is very conflicting.
How bad are the bites??? I've read that they are potentially dangerous.
And here are some pics!!!
Here are pics of him in the deli cup.

The enclosure measures 7 inches across and 18 inches tall. The substrate is a 75% peat 25% sand mix that is 13 inches deep.

So far he hasn't started to burrow. I read a article that suggested starting a hole and then they would do the rest.... Does that sound like a good idea???
Thanks for your time..
Clay:)
