Well, the mystery spider egg sac I found in my woodpile has hatched. The emerging spiderlings appear to be tiny Herpyllus ecclesiasticus (parson spiders).
Has anyone else kept these? I've always found them fascinating, but could never catch one, to observe it in captivity!
I have plenty to spare, if anyone else would like some. There are at least fifty here!
