While at work (in a bakery) I was washing down a table, when a spider was crawling as fast as he could out from underneath, so I caught him. A few minutes later, a female came down from the ceiling and landed on the brim of my hat, dangling mere inches from my face! It freaked me out enough to let out a rather embarassing, girly scream.
Anyway, I have no idea what species they are, but they've been living together in the same plastic cube for a week now with no incidents of cannibalization, but definitely with some mating going on.

Also, I purchased some bananas that same day, went home with them and had to do something really fast so I threw the entire bag into the fridge. I forgot the bananas were still in there until a couple hours later, when I took them out and noticed a small eggsack on it, that had hatched... I just slaughtered an entire generation of unknown spiderlings that came on the bananas, needless to say I feel really bad about it. It looked like some were freshly molted, but all were super tiny.
