The lifespan of this species is estimated at 10 years or more but there is no documentation that I know of. I do know of immatures documented at 6 years from hatching that are still at least a few years away from reaching full size. Also I know of some wild, full-grown adults have lived six or seven years in captivity and may continue on for many more years. Does anyone have any longevity reports?

I hatched out a litter of CB Archispirostreptus gigas Babies Mid year 2003

Found eggs last month from those former babies,
Making their first breeding, and current age at 6yrs old.

I'd say they currently vary in size from 6" - 8", but I can make a point to get proper measurements if you want them.
