Its legs, pedipals, and chelicerae are posable, thanks to a wire frame:

I tried to make it as anatomically correct as I could without making it too difficult for myself. I did this all by hand and not a machine, so it was very time consuming.
It is modelled after a terrestrial T, and I'm planning to paint it with the colors of a certain species, so I am looking for suggestions.:)

If I put a thin layer of acrylic paint on, it won't crack. And I don't plan on moving it around that much.

Maybe instead of acrylic you can try dyes? Some good fabric paint would probably work better than acrylic and you won't need to worry about paint cracking or tearing =)
