It was in my bathtub this morning.

From the photos, which arent much help, it looks like either a lycodis, an agelenid, or something else entirely.

yeah, some better pics (maybe not so washed out) or clearer/closer would help immensely.

Aw well, I already let it go out in the garden. The stripes on the abdomen were very light-colored and you can kind of see the stripes on the carapace. It almost has the appearance of a hobo spider except the abdomen shape is wrong.

Is this similar to a lycosid by any chance?
I'll go with agelenid too, though.
