If you are aware then why ask if its a gigantea morph

As for the size, camera adds a few pounds :D
Pedes do not come in standard sizes.. some grow bigger some smaller. Its normal

I should of emphasized the sarcasm, San.

"MY GOD, IS THAT AN S.GIGANTEA MORPH!?!?"

Hope that's better.

Have a great day.

Wow! Great footage! Thanks for the post... and I'm glad that guy didn't eat it... I was kind of nervous at the beginning of the vid, thinking we were going to see that poor 'pede on a skewer or something.

I haven't seen one that red before ...and I think szappan has one that's noticeably bigger than that one. Didn't satbob say he's seen some 9 inchers?, they can get a lot bigger than I thought:clap: .(I kind of like the bigger stuff)

I had a giant 9" plus florida S.Alternans.But it died a couple of years ago.It
was a orange morph. It was a sad day when I found him dead.He made that
one look small. If and when we get another hurricane down in the keys.I will
go on a pede hunt again.I went to the keys to do some work 8 or 10 days
after a hurricane about 7 years ago.The ground was still flooded.I found 30
of them in 2 hours.Thay were in bushes and on palm trees just over the water
level.I didn't have anything put them in but a 5 gal bucket. So I found some
gatorade bottles, soda bottles and any other containers I could put them in.
I would just knock them off the palm tree trunks it the bucket. Then transfer
them into a containers. It took longer to find the containers. Then it did to find
the pedes. It was a day to remember.I gave most of them away to members
of my spider group and thay all loved them.

This clip isn't quite so dramatic...

your right about that,it doesn't look big either until they zoom in , and then it looks huge. funny how videos and pics deceive the eye
.
