looks a lot like a green lynx spider to me.

Some form of lynx spider was my guess too -- though a rather 'shot in the dark' one on my part.:D

Definitely looks like a species of Lynx spider, a mature male too. Amazing how its chelicerae point out and to the sides as well. Nice shots! :)

Mature male Tetragnatha viridis, a Longjawed Orb Weaver.

agree with Erik: Tetragnatha sp., but I´m not sure about the species. Never saw a T. viridis.

jaws make it a Tetragnatha or at least that family

I had originally dismissed it as an orb weaver as I had never seen one w/ such long chelicerae nor such spiny legs. Doing some googling based on what you folks thought, I would have to agree -- long-jawed orb weaver. The eye arrangement didn't fit that of the lynx.

No doubt long-jaw ...not that u needed another confirmation.
Walk a stream and you'll find it a mate ...and probably a couple more closely related species ...tis the season! ;)
