It looks smaller than 8" IMO from those pics but nonetheless that is an absolutely spectacular centipede!

Man that thing is beautiful!

I can't wait till they are avaliable to me (the public) That is one of the most attractive Centipedes out there. Hopefully one day soon they along with several other species of Scolopendra family; Gigantea, Israel, Maxima, Mirabilis, Sulawesi, etc...just to name a few I'd love to get my hands on.

Hi Cody,
Shes 19-1/2CM's.I have 3 that are larger.The largerest is 22 CM.There just a
great centipede and the pictures don't give them any justice.Thay never
refuse food and thay eat anything I give them.I feed them crickets, roaches,
worms,locust,grubs,silkworms,live or frozen pinkies mice.I haven't found
anything thay wont eat.I just pick the food item up with tweezers and tap
them on the head with it.The hardwickei"s grab it and go to town.

It's usually hard to catch size with a camera. I bet a really good pic can be taken with it outside for a few seconds in sunlight. It's good to see another pic but I want to see pics of babies:D !
