I.d.

Color in those pics is a little dark, but is there any possibility that is was not collected in Malaysia, but instead in Indonesia like in Suelawesi? It kinda reminds me of the centipedes that have been shown from there.

Hi,

if they are collected in Sulawesi it may be a color variation of
Scolopendra subspinipes piceoflava, exactly like the bee-colored Celebes-giants, if you know what I mean.

Ah, now i see what you mean...
"no spines" does not mean they dont have it ON the terminal legs. You have to look on the underside of the terminal legs.

thanks for reply

i really don't know the venue details where it be caught, just a Malaysia guy sell to me with some cherry red, but in the map, Malaysia very nearly
Indonesia , maybe it be caught in Borneo or Suelawesi, but it just my guess

and i ask another chinese hobby (his ID is 西行寺 幽々子 in this forum), he let me see the medial and underside of terminal legs , i not find any spine, so he let me send this post to here to ask; sorry for i can't show a more good picture, but i really not see any spine by my eye , that is why i don't understand

about bee-colored Celebes-giants centipede, do you mean it? :

西行寺 幽々子 give me this picture first, and said maybe it is Scolopendra subspinipes piceoflava, but in the photo the centipede still have big spine on terminal legs

ps: i just have one of this centipede, so i don't know if the others have spines or not on terminal legs

Hey,

the centipede shown on your last picture (bee-colored) ist almost 100% sure Scolopendra subspinipes piceoflava. This is the correct species-name for the centipedes that were around as "Celebes giants".

Regarding your speciman: If it comes from Malaysia I suppose it may be just another colorform S. s. subspinipes, but it's hard to check without detail pictures.
