Lately when I have gone to feed my T's I have had to feed the first row and then move them to feed the second. Well I got off my curly tail and bought my third rack (had a coupon and saved $20:} ).

Most of my female terrestrials (2 males squeezed in there), BTW the orange KK in the bottom houses one of my OBT's, not really looking forward to re-housing into a glass tank.

Most of my big arboreal gals (again two males there) Plus some slings

Most of my mid sized avis, few slings and juvie terrestrials

I found these cheap tubs (3rd pic) and am looking to fill some of them with some re-houses and am looking for new avis soon as well as a couple of psalmos.

I look forward to the spring and what new imports bring.

Enjoy

Thanks guys.
Those containers were found in a local dollar store for about $1.25 each. I used a dremil tool to cut out the centers of the lids, and then I hot glued the mesh screen onto them. They cean easily hold up to a 5" T.

Nice setup you have going on there, Pig. I'll keep those racks in mind for future expansion of my own.

Hey what size glass tanks are those? 10 gallons or the 5? I have the same rack downstairs and I would like to know the size of them so they fit mine as good as yours. Also where did you buy them, and are they the ones with the sliding mesh screen or do you by the separate lids and hold them down with clips. Thanks man, and amazing pics.

If I'm not mistaken, the racks would have to be 45" - 48" in width in order to hold five 5-gallon tanks in the manner Pig has them stored in the pic. They would have to be at least 60" wide to accommodate five 10-gallon tanks.

Nick, those are 2.5 gal tanks, most of the T's in them I raised from slings and are no bigger than 4.5". The tanks are roughly 6" wide x 11' long so they will last me a long time b4 I have to move the inhabitants into larger tanks, if at all. I don't have elaborate decour in them so the T's have plenty leg room.

I bought them at a local pet store with screen lids for about $17 each.

Hope this helps.

I like your T room!, and organization........I suggest a few more fake plants
in the arborial section to make area look more tropical, ya could hang some rep./invertabrate posters on wall. In the years to come, I expect posts of
babies.....and continued success! Bravo!

In the second picture, are those acrylic containers? Did you make those from scratch or can you buy parts of them somewhere? They're very lovely!

Love your collection :)

Thanks-
I made them. I ordered a sheet of acrylic, had it cut into strips of 6"x12" and I did the rest.

Somewhere out there is a thread about these enclosures. In the spring I'll be making another 13 or so and I will post a detailed step by step thread so folks can try their hands at making them. Its not hard if your a lil handy.

Many hobbyists here have made spectacular acrylic enclosures.
