We had a new order today!
Unfortunately, due to postal incompetence the package was left outside for a couple hours (even though someone was home!) Today was unseasonably cold at 2degrees C here. Our P. rufilata and 3 H. Norte de Santanders were okay if a bit slow. Two of our C. elegans were extremely slow but alive. The third and smallest (at 1/6") was apparently dead in full death curl. After about 20 minutes of holding it in my palm lightly breathing on it and supplying some water I noticed the last pair of legs had extended. Another 10 minutes or so I put it in a pill vial and placed it adjacent to our BP's heat pad. After about 2 hours he is alive! We will be naming him The Highlander because he is apparently immortal.
Just shows that you should never give up on a "dead" T.
