View Full Version : phidippus adult or sub! Help!

Please could someone help i have aquired 2 pairs of phidippus otiosus but the thing is the person who i got em off doesnt know whether they are sub adult or adult. ive put them together to see if they would mate but niether is really showing any interest any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

i was wondering the same as it took him 2 wk to send the second pair.
Would she still lay another sac if shes already been mated.

quite possibly. may or may not. i would encourage heavy feeding in case.

should i carry on putting em together to see if they will m8 thats if they are adult.

i would only do this every week or so, and only if she is well fed. best i can tell from the pics they seem to be adult.

and no unsupervised visits until you're sure the female is impressed with him. No closed-bedroom-door privilages for this couple and I don't mean "protection" for the girl. :D
