Nice specimen, even though it died. I'll have to visit Colorado someday and do a little collecting. :)

that is a beauty. many of the Carolina wolves I see on the web are from Colorado, Arizona, Florida, and Texas.

we also have some very striking H. coloradensis here as well. very nice coloring and bright orange stripe:

jsloan, i'd love for you to come visit sometime. would be SWEET to go looking for some spiders and talk about some cell bio :cool:

coloradensis is similar ventrally to carolinensis but lacks the overall black underside, correct? coloradensis doesn't look much smaller than the Carolina. either of these species would be an awesome addition to any collection. awesome pics man. :clap:

no, not really similar. they are not too much smaller either. they are pretty sweet, i actually liked them better than the caros... :cool:

and my pic, i know it looks like caro , but this is baltimoriana, It is enough to drive a person crazy w/ abdomens that are either partially black, completely black, a dot here-and-there, :?
