Just judging for the colour of their legs the geography and the head plate... it is sinonim of Ethmostigmus trigonopodus "blue ring legs".

But maybe i'm wrong... wait for experts.

Hey,

difficult to say, cause it's a pedeling.
But i suppose it's a Rhysida longipes (though I don't know for sure). ;)

He needs information about the ET Blue-ring leg. I think he's saying that's the only photo he's been able to find.

Hey Dante- if it's Ethmostigmus trigonopodus, here's an adult. What in particular did you want to know about it?

Ethmostigmus trigonopodus come in variants of "blue leg" and "yellow leg", I've not known them to be referred to as Scolopendra sp. Tanzania as the OP puts it.

Until I think I know, In tanzania exist also Scolopendra morsitans... but I'm not suspect it in this case...

Turgut; Why do you think in Rhysida in this case?

There are two things that make me doubt it's E. trigonopodus:

1) I had pedelings of Rhysida longipes and they resembled the one on the pic
2) As I can see on the picture the species features 3 sparsely hirsute basal antenna segments (and it looks like it has even less ventrally if you examine the telopodite margins). E. trigonopodus always features 4, not less.

But again: I'm not 100% sure, just a guess.

I have an adult female and it looks nearly the same as E. trigonopodus.
10/12cm long.
So it's an E. trigonopodus?
