hi everyone was wondering if nay of you might have some useful info on keeping vinngaroons or have any yourself, thanks--Jeff

The Uropygi do fine at average temperature and humidity. Suggest using a couple pieces of cork bark and maybe half a clay pot to encourage burrowing. Captive specimens usually get over the defensive spraying ability shortly after being in captivity. A good burrowing substrate such as peat/potting soil works very well. Hope that hepled :)

No prob, it is best to keep them solitary as they can at times be quite canibalistic. They do fine in small simple enclosures, such as tupperware containers.

i have mine in a small petpal, and s/he loves it. one piece of cork bark and a small half-log.

Yeah, uropygids are a simple yet excellent addition to any arachnid collection! They dont take up much space at all, are easy to care for, live quite long, and are overall just an awesome creature!
