Got a mantid!

My fiance gave me a big green mantid that he caught a few days ago....what a neat critter. She's fat and seems healthy from what I can tell. Here she is:

Nice mantid.....I've got tons of them around my place now. They'er showing up all in my gardens and my front door....had one that was hanging out on my garage door for two days while it was a bit cold here. Guess he hung out to keep warm, 'cause as soon as it did get warmer a couple of days later he was gone. I took some pics of him....I'll have to post once I get them developed and scanned (yeah I'm still back in the "film age").

Awe! That's adorable! I've always wanted a Mantis as a pet. I guess I should go outside and see if there are any hanging around.
