POSITIVE
Sebastien Imhoff is a French seller. I heard of him by word of mouth from a friend, and obtained his email. Upon sending him a request, I received a prompt response with a list of tarantulas he had for sale.
My boyfriend and I looked over the list and then sent Sebastien our order for;
1 x CHILOBRACHYS BICOLOR 1.5cm 5€
1 x CHILOBRACHYS HUAHINI 1-1.5cm 5€
2 x POECILOTHERIA RUFILATA stade2 7€
1 x ORNITHOCTONUS GODGOLI stade2 5€
1 x HAPLOPELMA AUREOPILOSOM stade2-3 5€
1 x HETEROSCODRA MACULATA 2-3cm 6€
Positive Points The list was clearly presented with 3 columns for species name (latin), size and price. He had a large, varied range of stock including some rarities.
Prices were extremely competitive. For example, 7€ for a 3-4cm P. rufilata. Far better than I'd ever get in Britain.
Emails were clear, concise and friendly. All my questions were answered.
All spiders arrived brilliantly packed in a large cardboard box. Each tub was clearly labelled with the Genus and species along with the birth date of the spider.
All spiders were healthy, and well looked after.
Sizes were underestimated. I was pleasantly shocked at the sizes of the spiders. All were larger than expected. For example, my 2-3cm H. maculata turned out to be at least 2.5"!!
And finally, a special Gold Star goes to Sebastien for including 2 free spiders in the package, which Leon was delighted with.
Negative Points
The only negative point was that postage was pretty pricey at 28€, but considering it took just 3 days after he received my money, and how well the spiders were packed, I would not hesitate on paying this much again. Postage cost also pales into insignificance when you're ordering quite a few spiders.
