I know the substrate is dry in the pic. What is this?

it's late and i am tired.. but to me it looks like a P. cavimanus ofcourse i could be and most likely am totally wrong.

P.gregoryi is a synonym of P.exitialis ;) It does look like P.exitialis to me. There is a light morph of P.cavimanus, and they look a bit alike, but P.cavimanus has different chela, granulations and general coloration pattern.

one thing I'm sure of is it's not P. cavimanus

Doesn't look like Cavimanus to me. I have been studying Pandinus lately, this one has a sunburst finish. Like a vintage Les Paul guitar.
I wanna say P.exitialis, but I am probably like 100% wrong.
